RECYCLING IS an option available to all East Central Sanitation trash customers for FREE. With the new single sort method, recycling is easier than ever. No need to separate recyclables anymore. Simply place all the recyclable materials inside the single sort cart. ECS can provide recyclable carts in the following sizes:

East Central Sanitation & Recycling is always thinking about the future for our children as well as the global environment. We strive to make the process of recycling recyclable materials easy for the customer. With the introduction of our latest recycling service, Single Sort Recycling there's no need to separate recyclables any more! Simply place all recyclable materials inside the Single Sort Cart. We'll do the rest!

ITEM ACCEPTABLE UNACCEPTABLE Aluminum Cans Clean & dry cans whole or flattened Dirty or partially filled cans Corrugated Cardboard Flattened out & no bigger than 3’ X 3’ pieces. Must be clean & dry Cartons with food waste Example: pizza boxes Glass Bottles Clean & dry bottles only. Remove caps & rings Window glass, ceramics, pyrex dishes, drinking glasses, lightbulbs Newspaper Bagged or bundled clean & dry. NOTE: In order to keep costs and rates down, we ask that everyone have their trash and recyclables out by 6:30 A.M. on their scheduled pickup day. We can no longer call or send trucks back to pickup trash and recyclables that was not out by 6:30 A.M.. If trash is not out by 6:30 A.M., and the truck goes by, the trash and recyclables will not be picked up until the next scheduled pickup day. We appreciate your help in attempting to get your trash to the curb in a timely manner.
